After installing, sign in at ounie.com (or paste an API key in the extension's options) and pick a brain to start saving.

Download the extension
ounie-extension.zip · load it unpacked via Developer mode.

Download & unzip
Download the file below and unzip it. You'll get a folder named ounie-extension. Keep it somewhere you won't delete — Chrome loads the extension from this folder.

Turn on Developer mode
Open chrome://extensions in a new tab, then flip the Developer mode switch (top-right) on.

Load unpacked
Click Load unpacked and select the ounie-extension folder you just unzipped. The Ounie icon appears in your toolbar — pin it and you're set.
A manual install doesn't auto-update, and Chrome may show a “Disable developer-mode extensions” reminder on startup — that's expected; you can dismiss it. For automatic updates, use the Chrome Web Store install above.
