Why we don't promise rankings

Overview

The Brain — and Realtor Maps as a product — never guarantees Google rankings or AI citation placement, and refuses to render answers that imply we could. Two reasons.

Reasons for No Guarantees

One: we don't control the models.
ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, and Perplexity each weight their own signals on their own cadence. We optimize and we monitor; we don't pull the lever.

Two: credibility is the durable advantage.
Most of this category is staffed by people who will say anything to close. The thing agents stop trusting fastest is a vendor who quietly walked back the promise that closed them. We'd rather lose the sale than make the promise.
