Ounie meets you where you already work. Beyond the web app, it captures from your phone, your browser, your AI tools, and your chat apps.

iOS app

A native iOS app with full feature parity to the web, plus phone-native capture: photos, videos, files, audio recording, and on-device voice dictation. The iOS Share Sheet adds a "Save to Ounie" action, so you can push links, text, images, videos, and files from any app straight into a brain. The app also sells Pro and Team subscriptions (and credit packs) through the App Store, with your plan syncing to your account automatically.

Chrome extension

The Chrome extension can save a link, clip the main article, save a full page or a selection, collect highlights, open a clean reading view, and add right-click and keyboard-shortcut actions. Its web highlights let you highlight passages on any page; they're saved to your account and reappear the next time you visit that page, and you can save a page's highlights into a brain in one click. The extension only sends Ounie the content you explicitly save or highlight, stores just your settings locally, and does not track your browsing or run analytics.

MCP — use Ounie inside Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor

Ounie's MCP connectors let AI clients read and add to your brain — listing brains, asking them, adding sources and notes, searching, and pulling context. There are two ways to connect: install the MCP package with an API key (npx -y @ounie/mcp), or connect the hosted MCP endpoint as a custom connector in Claude.ai or ChatGPT using OAuth, with no API key needed. (API and MCP access is a Team capability.)

Telegram

Link your account once to the official Ounie bot, then capture links and notes or ask your brain right from Telegram using simple commands.

Slack and Discord

Add Ounie to a Slack workspace or to Discord to capture content and ask your brain — via slash commands, mentions, or direct messages — all answered from your sources with citations.
