Grounded, Never Guessed

Trust is the product

Ounie's defining promise is that answers come only from your sources, always with citations, and when the answer isn't there, Ounie says so.

Every answer is cited

Every claim in an answer links back to the wiki page it came from, so you can click through and verify. Citations are resolved against the actual set of pages Ounie retrieved for your question — the model can't invent a source or a link.

No hallucinations

If the answer isn't in your brain, Ounie tells you it doesn't have the information rather than filling the gap with an outside guess. Accuracy reflects what you've added: Ounie won't reach beyond your sources, and it flags when something isn't covered.

Asking across everything at once

You're not limited to one document at a time. Ounie pulls together the most relevant pages from across the whole brain — plus the concepts and entities that connect them — and answers from all of it. That's the point of a second brain: questions that span dozens of sources, answered in one place.

Your question history

The Ask console has a Chat view and a List view, with a fullscreen expand option. The List view shows your past questions; in a shared brain it shows who asked each one, and an "Only me" filter appears when more than one person has asked.

Improving answers over time

Askers can react to answers, and brain owners can push back with corrections. These appear in the brain's Feedback tab, so a brain's quality improves with use. Owners and editors can also edit any wiki page inline — the edit is re-indexed so future answers reflect the change.
