The three plans

Free — $0
One brain, up to 50 sources, a one-time bank of 1,000 personal questions that never expires (instead of a daily limit), the knowledge graph, public sharing, files up to 10 MB, 1 GB of storage, and unlimited website widgets with 1,000 included widget questions as a one-time lifetime allowance (with "powered by Ounie" shown).

Pro — $9.99/month or $99.90/year
Unlimited brains, up to 5,000 sources, 5,000 personal questions per month, audio and video transcription, priority processing, files up to 100 MB, 25 GB of storage, unlimited website widgets with 5,000 included widget questions per month, Landing Studio, up to three marketplace listings, and 30 Auto-Research ingests per month.

Team — $24.99/month or $249.90/year
Everything in Pro, plus unlimited sources, 30,000 personal questions per month, collaborators and shared brains with contributor seats, API and MCP access, the option to remove "powered by Ounie", files up to 500 MB, 100 GB of storage, unlimited website widgets with 25,000 included widget questions per month, unlimited marketplace listings, and 100 Auto-Research ingests per month.

Yearly billing

Yearly billing gives you two months free — it's priced as ten months instead of twelve.

How questions are counted

Your personal questions (you asking your own brains) are separate from public traffic. Free runs on the one-time bank of 1,000 personal questions that never expires; Pro is 5,000 per month; Team is 30,000 per month. Your remaining questions are shown in the dashboard. Website-widget and paid-brain questions are metered separately (your widget allowance, then credits) and never draw from this personal count.

Sources and storage limits

Free caps a brain at 50 sources; Pro raises it to 5,000; Team is unlimited. Maximum file size is 10 MB on Free, 100 MB on Pro, and 500 MB on Team. Total file storage is 1 GB, 25 GB, and 100 GB respectively. You can free up space anytime by deleting sources.

Upgrading and managing your plan

Upgrade from your billing settings in the dashboard. On the web, billing is handled by Stripe; in the iOS app, subscriptions go through the App Store. Either way, your plan state stays in sync everywhere you use Ounie. Manage or cancel from billing settings (web) or your App Store subscriptions (iOS); changes take effect without signing out.

Which plan unlocks API and MCP

The Team plan. API keys and MCP connectors are a Team capability.

Referrals

Ounie has a double-sided referral bonus: +100 questions for you and +100 for the person you invite, added to both question banks. The bonus is granted once, on the invitee's first real (non-empty) answer, and it lands in the non-expiring personal question bank so it persists across plan upgrades.
